It’s not a USB-C passthrough, no docking possible, kind of flimsy and overpriced for what it does. For $20, this stand should have more features than just being a stand with a Big N logo and relocating the charging port.The USB-C connectors on this unit do not have all of the pins wired for a dock passthrough, meaning that only power is running through this. If you connect an extension USB-C cable from your Switch’s dock to the female USB-C port on this stand and connect your Switch, it will black out the Switch’s screen and change it to docked mode, but your dock will not be…
Great add on product! This product is just a charging stand for the switch and does not contain a powercord. That being said I love it. The charging port sits on the side of the stand itself which means that when you play the switch while charging the cord doesnât hang out the bottom, the product itself doesnât add much extra weight either so one doesnât even notice its attached. I also love how sturdy the kickstand is. Because I prefer to play the switch in handheld mode rather than in tv mode, when I am done…
