Great light color, terrible quality. I like the light they produce, price is decent, but quality appears bad. I bought a lot of these and replaced all of the bulbs in my RV. While I do like the whiter light, they are continually burning out. I bought 20 bulbs so I would have some spares. Several have burned out in the first month, not the 10,000 hours suggested. If you can find a decent quality bulb out there it would be better, as I do like the white light, and they are cool to the touch, but I have had to put the halogen…
Very nicely built light Very nicely built light. It is not polarity sensitive in my testing can insert either way on 12V DC in my application in an RV. The light output is about equivalent to my 10W halogen bulbs. On my test bench these are drawing 125mA at 12.0V so they are a 1.5W bulb that replaces a 10W halogen, nice power savings if you are needing that and I do in the RV. The color temperature seems about accurate I would guesstimate it at about 3600K which I find pleasing. The design is really neat to me…
