Wonderful music, a timeless classic. I can recommend this. I have owned a funky tape from LP of this album for over 40 years. I finally broke down and bought a “real” (CD) version. The hiss is gone, it’s well recorded. The image of the flood in Brittany it conjures up, the “call and response” singing at times, and of course that harp (and cello): it’s wonderful music, a timeless classic. I can recommend this.P.S. If you love music, you have to try Alain! An amazing singer and musician! If you have never heard any of his work you need to try a listen! I am not knowledgeable enough to know how to categorize his music but I can say there is a reason he is one of the most famous and respected musicians in Europe.
