Expensive and hard to install but otherwise great! Brighter than equivalent fluorescents. They are great but installation was not easy and they are expensive – especially if you only want a couple. BTW, I have four bulb fixtures, and although I wired the connections for all four bulbs, I only use two – they are very bright.Although they are supposed to be a direct replacement for with existing bulbs (remove fluorescent bulb, insert one of these – they have the same connectors), they would not work with any of my fixtures.I do…
Nice lights but BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Works on T8 Housing. Will NOT work on T-12 housing, without bypassing the ballast. Good lights – but not happy about how they advertised the product.These DO NOT work on T-12 units “with or without” the ballast. That is bogus.I installed these instantly into a T-12 housing and a T-8 housing. The T8 worked with just snapping it in, no work required. The T-12 did NOT.I intended to remove the ballasts anyways, and hook them up directly anyways (uses less power), but according to the description you should have been able to just snap…
