- Ozone Plates Maintenance: Make sure ozone plates are clean and dry without any cracks. Clean the ozone plate about once every month. Environmental factors affect the duration of ozone output. Clean or change the ozone plates as follows if the ozone output is weak. It’s better to replace it every half year of use.

Cheap, poor quality. There’s that saying that comes to mind here. “They don’t make ’em like they used to.” I purchased a similar looking commercial ozone generator 8 years ago for roughly the same price. That one was far superior to this one however. This one smells horrible like cheap Chinese internals before being turned on. Thoroughly Impressed with this Ozone Generator – Highly Recommend I bought this with reservations that it would actually work and to be honest, I figured I would be returning it!
