Works great and bright on my boat radar arch Works great and bright on my boat radar arch. They throw about the same warm light as the old halogen. So far, vibration, expose to salt weather have not brought on any issues. Perhaps 3+ month of usage is too short. Only time will tell if they will last. With 3 of these in the back of the boat, instead of drawing 150W and putting a load on the boat battery when the generator is off, I worry less as it is now only drawing 27W and running much cooler as well. 25% Failure Rate (So Far) Good side: Warm spectrum, bright lights that are exactly form, fit, function for my PAR 36 halogen lights. Bad side: I ordered 16 of these. So far two have failed within two days of installation, and 2 more failed within two weeks of installation. Also, now that I am at the two-week point, I am noticing some of the silver is wearing away from the back of the two lights I am returning today.I use them as in-well landscape up-lights, with covers to protect them from rain.
