Great switch for my under cabinet lights Great switch for my under cabinet lights. I used HitLights Warm White SMD3528 LED Light Strip & HitLights UL Listed 24 Watt Power Supply to get under cabinet lighting for very cheap. I cut off the connectors and soldered the wires to the power supply and LEDs, and used shrink tubing for a great finished look. Thin wire, thick insulation Insulation is thick enough to resist damage from pinching, but the internal wire gauge is 22AWG, which is pretty terrible if you’re trying to push any kind of amperage through it. I was using it to distribute power from a tabletop SMPS that delivered 7A through a 2.1mm Co-ax and I had three identical loads that pulled 2A each. This splitter melted in a hurry.
